Away from Reading for the Summer?

Are you away from Reading or Graduating this summer?

You can now freeze your membership payments for July, August and September by emailing us directly and we will do all the hard work for you.

I am away from Reading for the summer, what do I need to do?

Avoid the hassle of cancelling your membership and having to pay a £15.00 joining fee on your return.

  1. Simply contact us on sport@reading.ac.uk requesting when you would like your membership frozen from, please note, we do not offer freezing for June and you must have contacted us by the 24th of the month prior to the first month you wish to freeze.
  2. You will receive a confirmation email when your freeze has been processed, if you do not receive this within 3 days, please contact sport@reading.ac.uk.
  3. We will automatically restart your monthly subscription on the 25th September 2023 for the start of the new academic year and your monthly payments will continue as normal.  If you plan to return early, please contact us and we can arrange for your membership to reactivated.

What happens if I am graduating this summer?

  1. Please either cancel your direct debit instruction directly with your bank or reply to this email requesting your membership to be cancelled.
  2. You will receive a confirmation email when you cancellation has been processed, if you do not receive this within 3 days, please contact sport@reading.ac.uk and a member of the SportsPark team will assist you.

If you fail to cancel your direct debit or contact us payments will automatically start again in October 2023 at the Alumni price level.
