Streetlighting Upgrade

From 30^th March, the street lighting in the car park in front of the SportsPark will be undergoing a planned upgrade. The work is expected to take no longer than four weeks.

This project will replace end‑of‑life lighting with new, energy‑efficient units and install collapsible columns that are easier to maintain and aligned with University standards. These improvements will help reduce energy consumption, lower maintenance requirements, and support our wider sustainability goals.

We will keep any impact on parking to an absolute minimum. However, there may be times when a small number of spaces need to be temporarily taken out of service to allow the works to proceed safely.
