Due to the exceptional circumstances linked to COVID-19 the University has taken the decision to close its SportsPark Facilities until further notice. This is in line with the Government’s guidelines on social distancing to help reduce the spread of COVID-19.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused. We are working extremely hard to minimise disruption and cost to our members.
From 10pm on Friday 20th March 2020 we will be freezing ALL SportsPark memberships

I pay by direct debit. what does this mean for me?
We will automatically freeze all memberships on Friday 20th March 2020. No further payments will be taken from your account until the SportsPark re-opens. You will not need to do anything, we will automatically unfreeze your account for you ready to use on the first day back.
I no longer want to be a member of the SportsPark?
If you wish to cancel please cancel directly with your bank to avoid your membership restarting when we re-open.
I have already cancelled my direct debit, do I need to pay a joining fee when you re-open?
No, we will be wavering all joining fees for the first month after we re-open.
I have paid for an annual membership, what does this mean for me?
We will be adding the closure period to the end of all annual subscriptions on re-opening so you will not lose any days.
I am a University of Reading student and will not be returning?
We will happily refund you the closure period when we re-open.
